➢ Post Study Work Visa Students are eligible for 2 years of post study work visa (this is applicable only for RNCP certified programs) on completion of a Master’s course.
➢ Subsidized Accommodation by Government France is the only country in Europe to offer this benefit. All students are eligible on a case to case basis to apply for assistance and receive subsidy on cost of accommodation from 30% to 50% of the rent from the French Government.
➢ No IELTS/TOEFL IELTS/TOEFL is not mandatory for admission but having the same will have a positive impact on the visa outcome.
➢ Part time Jobs Students can work upto 964 hours per year. Typical part
time earning is €10 to €12 per hour. Minimum gross wage is €9.76 per hour.
➢ Visa Every student is granted a specific Long Stay Visa for study purposes in France. However as the country falls within the Schengen area a student has the liberty to visit any of the other Schengen countries as a visitor for a limited period for tourism purpose.
➢ Free French Language Courses French classes are provided by many Government organizations for free. Enrolment fees are typically around €5 to €10. Duration remains 2 to 3 hours a day. It is part of the course curriculum for which exams are conducted and students are awarded a certificate for their French knowledge level.
➢ Low Transportation Expenses A Transportation pass costs around €35 per month for students under 25 years of age, else it is around €45 to €50 per month.

Please Note:
- Provide updated mobile number, email id and Skype ID of the student as the same will be required for interview by institution.
- Intimate the student that he/she will be interviewed by the institution representative and prepare the student to face it to reduce the chances of rejection.

France VISA Procedure
STEP 1 – Register online
Register online on www.inde.campusfrance.org and complete the online “Campus France Form”. Uploadall related documents and submit the form. Please email the file number (Example IN123456) that is generated on submission to the nearest Campus France office for verification of the entries and confirmation.
STEP 2 – Appointment with a Campus
France Education Advisor
Request an appointment through email to the Campus France office for an academic interview with the Education Advisor for which the student will have to appear in person and furnish all mandatory documents (originals + one set of photocopies).
STEP 3 – Appointment at VFS France
Once the interview with Campus France is over an NOC is issued to the student after which an appointment may be booked online or telephonically for the submission of documents at VFS France.

VISA Fees and Payment
FEE PAYMENT PROCEDURE
- Fees of ₹16,500 need to be paid online after submission of the online Campus France application form.
- Submit the payment acknowledgement slip to the Campus France office on the day of the academic interview.
- There is a separate visa fee to be paid in cash at VFS France. VISA fees is €50. For details please visit www.vfs-france.co.in
Note: Cash is acceptable at VFS. The duration of the entire process varies from two weeks to a month depending on the time of the year. Visa applications filed earlier than three months before the scheduled date of departure will not be accepted.
Documents required for France Student Visa
- Print out of Long Stay application form duly filled online.
- Acceptance/Admission letter from a French Academic Institution.
- Academic records – Mark Sheets/Transcripts + Passing Certificates/Degree or Diploma Certificates (“10+2” onwards till last degree obtained).
- Language Test Certifications (IELTS / TOEFL) if required by institution in France
- Curriculum Vitae.
- Experience Letter (if applicable).
- Any other documents uploaded in the Campus France online form.
- Two recent passport sized photographs not older than 3 months meeting set standards (Size 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm, with white background).
- Passport. If a student has more than one passport, all of them to be submitted.
- A copy of the first and last page of the passport including information on personal identity, validity, pages on which there are any notes or markings and which hold Schengen visas if any.
- A print out of Campus France ID number generated for a student.
- Cover letter explaining the study project and motivation.
- Proof of funds.
- Proof of travel medical insurance.
- A copy of one way blocked air ticket.
- Accommodation proof for at least the first 3 months.
- Past three years income tax returns and past three months bank statement of sponsor showing sufficient funds.
Proof of Resources
Funds to be shown:
- Liquid funds to be shown is the sum total of the amount of tuition fees plus a minimum of €1000 per month multiplied by the number of months of stay (living expenses). On an average around € 12,000 are required for living expenses per year. In case the course duration is for more than 12 months then living expenses are to be shown for a 12 month period only.

- Note: 100% funds can be shown through any relatives. There should not be more than 2 sponsors.

- Yes, the tuition fee is to be deposited before the student files for visa.
- Some institutions may require the complete year’s tuition fees to be paid in advance while others may require only the first semester’s fees to be paid up before applying for visa.

- The Campus France application is online.
- After the online application submission, the student will have to visit the nearest Campus France along with all the required documents and will have to face an academic interview.
